Career Management Checklist


Use the following list to take advantage of the various career development resources and tools available to every student.

  • Register with eRecruiting by completing the short registration form available from the Ford Advisement Center.
  • Complete your eRecruiting Personal Profile.
  • Create a resume. (Sample resume template.)
  • Save approved resume(s) to the eRecruiting resume database.
  • Subscribe to one or more Anderson listservs (organized by job function & concentration) to get up-to-the- minute information about jobs and internships.
  • Attend a UNM sponsored career fair each semester to learn about the variety of companies and opportunities available to you.
  • Register for MGT 398 to increase your chances for finding a fulfilling internship or full-time position.
  • Attend corporate information sessions to prepare for upcoming interviews. Make an informed decision about internship or career opportunities offered by each employer by attending these sessions.
  • Increase your visibility with employers, give back to the community, and develop leadership experience by joining one or more Anderson Student Organizations.

    To Do Each Week:
  • Read the Anderson Bulletin every Monday to learn of upcoming corporate information sessions, on-campus recruiting opportunities, and other important career related announcements.
  • Check the eRecruiting system to learn of upcoming corporate information sessions and on-campus interviewing deadlines.
  • Browse through the eRecruiting list of job, internship, and co-op opportunities.
