About the Exit Survey

Each semester, the Anderson Career Services Office (CSO) collects information from the graduating class about their employment status upon graduation and compiles it into an Employment Report. By publishing this report, students have a better understanding of their 'worth' in the marketplace. This is crucial information for students as they negotiate a fair compensation package with an employer.

In addition, the information helps the CSO:

  1. Determine the placement rate for Anderson School graduates
  2. Identify students who are still seeking employment upon graduation and/or want to remain in contact with the Career Services Office
  3. Understand what kinds of on-campus recruiting events are helpful to students and should be offered in the future
  4. Create valid comparisons between Anderson programs and other business schools.

The Employment Report does not reveal any individual or identifying information about students, their employment status or their employers, but only lists data in summary form. No student names or names of companies will be linked to any salary data. Past Employment Reports can be viewed at http://jobs.mgt.unm.edu/employers/salaryinfo.asp.

Data for the Employment Report comes from the Exit Survey, available online at http://jobs.mgt.unm.edu/survey/exitsurvey.asp
