Meet the Firms

Meet the Firms is an academic recruiting event hosted by the UNM Anderson School of Management with the purpose of connecting Anderson students with accounting firms/companies who are looking to hire interns and employees.

Meet the Firms provides a unique and effective opportunity to network with Firms, learn about the accounting profession, career opportunities, and connect with professionals. Many employers use Meet the Firms as a primary source to hire students and recent graduates for part-time, internship and full-time positions. This is one of the primary means for students and recent graduates to land positions in their field! This event is a unique and incredible opportunity for Anderson accounting students to meet with so many different organizations in one setting!

Please be sure to register if you are planning to attend - name badges will be provided.

There will be a reception before the Meet the Firms event to give students and employers an opportunity to connect and network prior to the Meet the Firms event.

Meet the Firms is free and open to students, alumni and community members as well. Professional business attire is strongly recommended. We ask job seekers to come prepared, professionally dressed, and with plenty of copies of their resume.

We encourage students to visit Anderson’s Professional Development “Drop-In” Hours or contact the UNM Office of Career Services prior to Meet the Firms to update your resume, cover letter, and interview skills. Also, visit the UNM Career Services website for a list of upcoming career fair workshops.
