Internship for Academic Credit
Career development is an essential part of the Anderson experience. We want to inspire and prepare students for a life of work and careers after college. We know that students and their families are looking for a return on investment amidst rapidly increasing tuition costs and a challenging and competitive job market. In the face of these concerns and needs, we prioritize personal and career development for our students and the development of an active employer outreach program yielding internships and full time employment opportunities.
Anderson students see Career Services as a strategic connection … here’s what they’re saying:
“Anderson Career Services is the best career services. I know I would not have gotten the job at General Mills after graduation without the help from the awesome team in the Anderson Career Services office. You are helping students succeed!” Stacy Caldwell, MBA
“Anderson Career Services has been immensely helpful in getting me a full-time job even before I graduated from UNM. I am very excited to go to Goldman Sachs, but I will always remember how much Anderson helped me along the way.”
Kevin Raisch, BBA
“I would not have gained the networking skills needed, or would not have attended the career fairs without the help of the Anderson Career Services team. Kate Williams was a huge part of my success in fine-tuning my resume and interview skills and encouraged me to attend the career fairs. That is where I met my employer, Waddell & Reed. I was hired in October and will start working in February after my licensing exams. The Career Services team was a huge part of my success.”
Sydney Counce, BBA

Online Job Boards & Career Resources
The following online job boards provide a wide range of geographic locations and outstanding job opportunities beyond what is listed on Handshake.
Many students spend their time applying to jobs online using job databases with a high level of competition. While this can work, it will be more effective to utilize your Career Services team, network to create a connection with professionals in your field of interest, optimize your LinkedIn profile, and attend Career Fairs and other connection events. We encourage you to check out the professional development resources that we have posted online for your review.
